My Take on the Book:
There are instances where Ruth Jefferson recounts times in her life where she felt as if she was at the edge of society, even though she had access to a lot of the good things and was able to achieve a lot. A person gets a glimpse of how the start of intolerance can breed fear and hate.
Halfway through this book, I felt as if things started becoming very dynamic and dimensional. I ended up giving this leisurely book a good four star rating.
Last Word:
I liked how things were explored in this book, and how things came to a conclusion. This isn’t the first book that I’ve read by this author, and definitely won’t be the last – she has a tendency to bring to light very relevant topics.
