Highlights of the Month - January 2019

By Carmen, 1 February 2019

Hello Everyone,

And so – the first month of 2019 has passed. I ended up reading 12 books – can you believe it? Both review and leisure reading are neck-and-neck in this month’s stats – not sure how it’s going to end up looking for February.

And once again – I’m having difficulty choosing a favourite, so as always, I’ll be mentioning a couple – and in no particular order.

- White Oleander by Janet Fitch

- Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer

And for a special mention, another book I really enjoyed was ‘The Curious Dreamer’s Practical Guide to Dream Interpretation’ by Nancy Wagaman.

Monthly Reading Goals:

Alright, so I at least was able to finish one of the categories for January’s reading goals. I’ve managed to start the other one, but I’ll only be finishing this book in February. Having said that, let’s move onto what my reading goals for FEBRUARY will be:

Read either:

- A Thriller

OR

- A Chick Lit

I’m still on the whole thriller train – so if you want to make any suggestions on social media – feel free to do so. Depending on how my reading schedule goes this month; I should get to at least one of these.

Last Word:

Alright so, at this stage – I’m not sure how February’s going to go. I’ve got one of two other things in the works that I’m looking forward to, other than that, I’m still going to try and see how calm I can keep things this coming month. Cheers to February!

Monthly Freebie:

I’m going to be retiring this section for 2019 – it can become a little bit time consuming to try and find free books that I can recommend. But who knows – I might revive this next year.

Hope you had a great month of reading,

Chat Soon,
Carmen
