Go Ahead You're Home in Dutch: "Loopt U Door, U Bent Thuis." These were the magical words spoken by the immigration officer when we handed over our passports on arrival at Amsterdam Airport. A true and poignant story of forgiveness, hope and love from humble beginnings, marked by economic highs and lows, youthful lust, drug abuse, infidelity, divorce and immigration. My goal as a single, full time, working mother was to begin a new peaceful life in The Netherlands, securing a better future for me and my children. It involved mountain-moving faith and breaking boundaries with a burning desire and determination to succeed.

My Take on the Book:
This is a book that I really enjoyed reading, though one thing I do wish is that Tirzah spoke a little bit more of her time in the Netherlands. If you’re someone who loves auto-biographies or biographies that is full of potential and possible inspiration – definitely pick this book up. I ended up giving this book a four star rating and got a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Last Word:
I really hope that this author writes more books in the future; and carries on with her awesome life journey – because I really enjoy reading about them, especially since she’s of the creative and entrepreneurship mindset.
Enjoy,
Carmen
