Highlights of the Month - November 2019
By Carmen, 1 December 2019
Hello Everyone,
This month has been a productive one – though I didn’t quite get through everything that I wanted to (Read: didn’t get to leisure reading).
But even despite that, I still had a good reading month nonetheless. And I ended up reading eight books this month – which I find really good; considering that I had a mostly busy month. So, having said that – here are a list of books that I enjoyed in the month of November.
- Spirit of the Wayah by Shea Oliver
- The Transkei Run by Michael Taljaard
- Grey Skies by William Becker
If I really had to choose a favourite of the month in this selection above; I’d most likely choose Grey Skies; but the selection is definitely the ones that I enjoyed the most above the others.
Monthly Reading Goals:
Alright – so since my review reading list was a little long this month; I had to sacrifice this one. So what I plan on doing – is carrying over one category; and then putting a different option in as well (I’m quite sure you’re going to guess which new category I’m going to put in), so here is the selection for DECEMBER:
Read either:
- Fantasy
OR
- A Christmas-themed book
And then if I’m really ambitious – I’ll add the other one from the previous month: one from the Literary genre. So let’s see how this one goes.
Last Word:
If I had to be really honest – I’m hoping to get some leisure reading done for the month of December. Since I’m most likely going to have a busy month with errands – I’m not sure how this is going to turn out; but I’m hoping for the best.
How do you plan on spending the last month of 2019?
Hope you had a great month of reading,
Chat Soon,
Carmen
