Q & A with Aubrey Law

Hello Everyone,

For those who have been reading my blog for a while – you’ll know that Aubrey Law is one of my favourite authors whose books I enjoy reading. I decided to do a little Q & A with her.

When did you start your writing career?
Sometime around 2011

How did you develop your writing style?
I studied many different authors ranging from Cormac McCarthy, J.R.R. Tolkien, Leigh Bardugo, Neil Gaiman, and Stephen King

Which do you prefer writing: Lighter Paranormal or the more Darker Paranormal?
Darker

Do you think you'll explore other writing genres other than paranormal in the future?
I just finished Jenny Greenteeth which is more of a horror story for Halloween

Any favourite characters that you've written about so far?
Black Annis of course!

What sort of books do you enjoy reading? Any favourite paranormal authors?
Dark Fantasy and I like Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series also Leigh Bardugo's Crooked Kingdom

What hobbies do you enjoy outside of writing?
Gaming!

Any favourite place to write in particular?
Mostly at home

Do you enjoy connecting with fans of your books/writing?
Definitely love to get feedback good or bad
