My Week of Reading (17 - 22 September 2018)
By Carmen, 23 September 2018
Hello Everyone,
I’ve had a nice week of reading, and was able to do one review.
The Amulets of Sihr by Abu Bilaal Yakub:
Amazon: Amazon Review - The Amulets of Sihr
Goodreads: Goodreads Review - The Amulets of Sihr
Genuine Jenn: Genuine Jenn Review - The Amulets of Sihr
This was a book that I quite enjoyed, so if you enjoy books that have a fantasy Middle Eastern setting, that occasionally dives into the occult, definitely pick this book up.
Monthly Reading Goals:
Alright, I haven’t quite gotten to this one yet – but – there’s some challenges for the Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-thon being set up, and the first one starts tomorrow – so let’s see if I manage to get this done. I have been doing a nice amount of leisure reading lately.
Last Word:
Alright, firstly – I’ve managed to get some workstation painting done – finally!
Next up: I’m going to be holding a bookish competition this coming week – so definitely watch out for that.
Lastly – I’m currently reading ‘Predator’ by Wilbur Smith, and will most likely be doing a review this coming week. Another book I’m reading is ‘The Wall Outside’ by James William Peercy, and will also be doing a review on this. Other than that, I will most likely also be doing another review – which brings it up to three reviews this coming week, and I’m definitely looking forward to my reading list this coming week, especially with the Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-thon challenges coming up!
Hope you had a great week of reading,
Chat Soon,
Carmen
