Sarah Smith has been offered the opportunity to exchange bookshops with a Parisian friend for six months. Saying yes is a no-brainer – after all, who would turn down a trip to Paris?
Even if it does mean leaving the irresistible boyfriend behind, Sarah’s sure she’s in for the holiday of a lifetime – days spent surrounded by novels in a gorgeous bookshop and the chance to watch the snow fall on the Champs-Élysées.
But will her dream come true or will Sarah realise that a fairytale Christmas in the city of love isn’t quite as rosy in reality…

My Take on the Book:
There were times when Sarah Smith was quite a dreamer; and at the beginning, this clashed quite a bit with her Paris dream simply because she was tasked with trying to navigate and manage a very successful book shop.
Another thing I really liked was Sarah’s narrative voice.
In this book you get to see some wonderful scenery and the culture of Paris as well as things that go on behind the scenes at the book shop. I ended up giving this leisurely read a five star rating.
This is the first book that I’m reading from this particular author – and it most certainly won’t be the last since I really enjoyed this one.
