Highlights of the Month - September 2018

By Carmen, 1 October 2018

Hello Everyone,

Alright, so – it seems to have been a busy month for me – getting the new blogging website up and going, doing reading, filming booktube videos…

Overall, I somehow managed to read six books, then an additional re-read; so all in all – seven books.

And so – if I had to pick a favourite read for September (not including any of the books I’m currently reading), I’d have to pick:

– Predator by Wilbur Smith with Tom Cain

And can you believe that I only picked one book?!

Monthly Reading Goals:

So it seems like I failed miserably in September’s reading goals, so I’m going to make this month a tiny little bit easier.

So, without further ado, here is OCTOBER’S reading goals:

Read either:

A Horror Book

OR

A Romance Book

As you can see, I’m still in the mood for a romance read, just got to pick the right one; and with it being October, the first goal is most likely going to be easy to do.

Last Word:

It feels as if I’m jumping straight into October – I’m busy with some leisure reads from last month, I’m going to be participating in two read-a-thons this month, I’m getting into the whole Halloween thing for the month, I’m going to be filming quite a bit, and it feels like I’ve got quite a TBR looming in front of me – but I think I’m going to enjoy a lot of these reads.

Definitely let me know on social media what books you’re going to be reading in October.

Monthly Freebie:

Alright, so this little section is back, from it being absent in my last ‘Highlights of the Month’. So this month’s freebie is Marigold by A.L. Wright. Please be aware that I'm not sure how long this ebook is going to be free, so be sure to use this link as soon as possible. I’ve only read one book by this author so far – but I’d definitely like to read more of her books in the future.

Hope you had a great month of reading,
