Highlights of the Month - July 2019
By Carmen, 1 August 2019
The end of July was a bit crazy, though the rest of July was alright. I just managed to keep up with reading – and managed to read 5 books; which isn’t actually much. Here is a tiny list of favourites:
- Whispers in the Dark by Laurel Hightower
- What We Do for Love by Anne Pfeffer
I was hoping to get to two or three more books, but that unfortunately didn’t happen.
Monthly Reading Goals:
Since I focused on and was kept busy with review reading, this was something that I unfortunately didn’t get to, so as with last month, it’s going to be carried over. Having said that, here is my list of what I’m going to be reading in AUGUST:
- A romance novel
- A classic novel
Let’s hope that the month of August goes a little bit better.
For the last part of July I was busy helping out at my old work place, as well as being a little bit sick (as fits the season); so I’m hoping that August will be a bit better in terms of reading as well as the time to do things. At this point in time I’m not sure how long the errands are going to go on for – but let’s hope for the best.
Hope you had a great month of reading,
